Self-Generated-Certificate Public Key Encryption Without Pairing

چکیده
Certificateless Public Key Cryptography (CL-PKC) has very appealing features, namely it does not require any public key certification (cf. traditional Public Key Cryptography) nor having key escrow problem (cf. Identity-Based Cryptography). However, it does suffer to the Denialof-Decryption (DoD) Attack called by Liu and Au [1], as its nature is similar to the well known Denial-of-Service (DoS) Attack. Based on CLPKC, they introduced a new paradigm called Self-Generated-Certificate Public Key Cryptography (SGC-PKC) that captured the DoD Attack and proposed a first scheme derived from a novel application of Water’s Identity-Based Encryption scheme. In this paper, we propose a new SGC-PKE scheme that does not depend on the bilinear pairings, which make it be more efficient and more short public keys than Liu and Au’s scheme. More importantly, our scheme reaches Girault’s trusted level 3 (cf. Girault’s trusted level 2 of Liu and Au’s scheme), the same level as is enjoyed in a traditional PKI.

A Provably Secure Certificate Based Ring Signature Without Pairing
In Eurocrypt 2003, Gentry introduced the notion of certificate-based encryption. The merit of certificatebased encryption lies in implicit certificate and no private key escrow. This feature is desirable especially for the efficiency and the real spontaneity of ring signature, which involve a large number of public keys in each execution. In this paper, we propose an efficient certificatebased ...
متن کاملSelf-Generated-Certificate Public Key Cryptography and Certificateless Signature / Encryption Scheme in the Standard Model
Certificateless Public Key Cryptography (CL-PKC) enjoys a number of features of Identity-Based Cryptography (IBC) while without having the problem of key escrow. However, it does suffer to an attack where the adversary, Carol, replaces Alice’s public key by someone’s public key so that Bob, who wants to send an encrypted message to Alice, uses Alice’s identity and other’s public key as the inpu...

In spite of the vital role played by Digital Certificates in Public Key Cryptographic systems, the overhead involved in maintaining those made them prohibitory. Certificateless Public Key Cryptography [1] was proposed as an alternative. It was based on based on the concept of implicit certification. Even though Certificateless Public Key Cryptography (CLPKC) combines the appealing features of P...
متن کاملID-based Encryption Scheme Secure against Chosen Ciphertext Attacks
ID-based encryption allows for a sender to encrypt a message to an identity without access to a public key certificate. Based on the bilinear pairing, Boneh and Franklin proposed the first practical IDbased encryption scheme and used the padding technique of FujisakiOkamto to extend it to be a chosen ciphertext secure version. In this letter, we would like to use another padding technique to pr...
متن کاملImplicit and Explicit Certificates-Based Encryption Scheme
Certificate-based encryption (CBE) combines traditional public-key encryption and certificateless encryption. However, it does suffer to the Denial of Decryption (DoD) attack called by Liu and Au. To capture this attack, they introduced a new paradigm called self-generated-certificate public key cryptography. In this paper we show that the problem of DoD attack can be solved with a new implicit...
